About The Role

The Crane Maintenance Specialist will troubleshoot to restore product flow, lead and train craft employees, and provide solutions to recurring design, process, and application problems. They will analyze equipment and process data to identify and develop improvements, assist in outage planning, follow up on equipment issues, and manage small capital projects, major repairs, and maintenance projects. Additionally, they will support process engineering.

In this role, you will

  • Adhere to Arconic EH&S, quality, continuous improvement and other company policies
  • Act as direct support of the Maintenance Organization
  • Work in tandem with craft employees
  • Act as a resource for technical guidance to manufacturing personnel
  • Respond to trouble calls on a 24/7 basis
  • Assist in the design of manufacturing processes and procedures
  • Assist in overseeing and executing downtime work on small and larger projects
  • Assist in justification of new equipment & ensuring that rebuilds and spares are sent for repairs or are ordered
  • Be involved with continuous improvement initiatives of manufacturing methods
  • Use lean manufacturing tools and principles to improve work, actively support and participate in problem solving (5c’s and 8 step problem solving)
  • Interface with other manufacturing departments to address and resolve technical issues
  • All other tasks and duties as assigned

Also note

  • This position will require frequent shift and weekend line/maintenance support. Travel can be up to 10%. This position is eligible for relocation benefits. This role reports up through the Central Services organization.
