Multiple Positions Available

1. Gather and organize information regarding AWS connection utility

• strategy for new data centers throughout US Southwest and LATAM
• and provide recommendations to management on the best strategy
• forward.

1. Develop and recommend utility connection strategies that balance

• CAPEX, OPEX, Reliability, and Schedule to meet AWS' business
• needs.

1. Develop and propose energy strategies that leverage capital projects

• (utility grid connections, high voltage substations, energy storage,
• etc.) to reduce long-term energy costs.

1. Collaborate with the internal teams and regulated utilities on the

• implementation of energy projects to ensure they are optimized and
• implemented in a timely and accurate fashion.

1. Identify and develop innovative cost savings projects and initiatives

related to energy infrastructure and supply.

1. Complete due diligence on in-market opportunities and developing

those opportunities into cost savings for the business.

1. Work with utility regulators to develop policies and guidelines that

enable broader AWS strategies and objectives.

1. Confer with internal and external stakeholders to develop internal

• processes to ensure that the energy-related payment processes are
• established, optimized and executable.

1. Domestic and international travel up to 20% to perform role
