Coordinate the demand identification, procurement, and inventory management of all non-merchandise items required for fulfillment center operations. Manage complex supply chain management aspects of procurement. Develop and utilize demand forecast models. Establish procurement order streams to match supply with demand on a JIT basis. Manage supplier relationships and performance to ensure timely deliveries and quality compliance. Create, communicate, and maintain quality control policies and standard operating procedures to Site Procurement Managers and Associates. Identify and lead process improvement initiatives using Lean tools. Help manage and control fixed costs, and develop and implement plans to achieve annual fixed and supply costs savings. Build and deliver productivity plans by reviewing work forecasts, determining productivity requirements, and partnering with other Regional Procurement Managers to drive results.
