The Opportunity

We are currently on the lookout for Senior Engineer s - DevOps - to join our t eam.

Responsibilities

• Research ing, evaluating and r ecommend ing DevOps tools in multiple technologies for multiple development teams
• Deploying, automating, mai ntaining and managing AWS cloud- based production system s , to ensure the availability, performance, scalability and security of productions systems
• Build ing , releas ing and configuration m anagement of production systems that need to be supported 24* 7 uptime
• Ensuring critical system security using the best - in - class cloud security solutions
• Coaching development teams in DevOps practices and guiding the tea m to implement effective DevOps
• Work ing collaboratively in a cross - functional team in an Agile delivery environment
• B e ing involve d in projects throughout their full software lifecycle : from development, QA, and deployment , to post-production support

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent , and 2-4 years of experience in DevOps
• A s trong knowledge o f AWS cloud computing and AWS DevOps tools
• Strong knowledge in fundamental DevOps tools such as AWS DevOps tools, Terraform, Jenkins, GoCD , GitHub, Nagios, Chef etc.
• Strong knowledg e on containerization of software packages using solutions such as Dockerization , Kubernetes , AWS ECS and AWS Fargate , etc.
• Hands - on experience designing, developing, testing and troubleshooting DevOps tools in production systems
• Adherence to enginee ring standards, best practices – must be process - oriented
• Strong communication skills – reading and comprehending documents/specifications, producing clear and thorough documentation, and the ability to discuss and explain technical issues during meetings
• 1+ years of experience with at least one dynamic object-oriented programing language like Groovy, Ruby or Python ; Experience with a programming language like Java, C#, Node.js JavaScript and related web frameworks will be an added advantage
