Draughtsman Mechanical / Piping

Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed mechanical and piping drawings including piping layouts, equipment layouts, isometrics, supports, and shop drawings. Develop drawings such as General Arrangement (GA) drawings, sections, details, and as-built drawings. Coordinate with Mechanical and Piping Engineers to understand design intent and incorporate engineering comments and revisions. Ensure all drawings comply with Technip specifications, ADNOC standards, project requirements, and international codes. Revise drawings based on site conditions, technical queries (TQs), site instructions, and change management. Support construction and fabrication teams with accurate and timely drawings. Maintain proper control of drawing registers, revisions, and documentation. Participate in interdisciplinary coordination with Civil, Structural, E&I, and other engineering disciplines. Assist in preparation and finalization of as-built drawings upon project completion. Software & Technical Skills Proficient in AutoCAD (mandatory) Experience in SP3D / SmartPlant / PDMS / E3D is highly preferred Good understanding of piping systems, piping components, and mechanical equipment used in Oil & Gas plants Familiarity with ADNOC, Technip, and international standards (ASME, API, ASTM, ISO) Qualifications Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering / Draftsmanship Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering will be an added advantage Experience Minimum 5+ years relevant experience in Oil & Gas plant construction projects
