Overview We are looking for Data Interns to support daily data operations with a strong focus on data quality, validation, and monitoring across multiple e-commerce platforms such as Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok. This role is operation-driven and requires strong attention to detail, structured thinking, and the ability to detect and investigate data issues systematically. Key Responsibilities Perform daily data quality checks across datasets including sales, traffic, and content Validate data completeness and accuracy against defined rules and source systems Identify and flag missing data, inconsistencies, and abnormal trends Use SQL to: Query and validate data from database tables Compare record counts across sources Detect missing or inconsistent data Support data collection processes through internal tools Monitor system and data pipeline status and report issues in a timely manner Assist in root cause analysis for data issues Maintain tracking files and daily or weekly data quality reports Collaborate with QA, Product, and Tech teams to resolve data-related issues Requirements Final-year student or fresh graduate in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related fields Strong attention to detail and logical thinking Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets for data validation and comparison SQL is required: Able to write queries independently to extract and validate data Able to perform data checks such as count comparison, filtering, and aggregation English is required: Able to read, write, and communicate clearly in a working environment Responsible, proactive, and able to follow structured processes Comfortable handling repetitive but critical operational tasks Nice to Have Experience with data validation, QA, or data monitoring workflows Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopee, Lazada, or TikTok Experience working with large datasets and identifying data issues Working Environment Work in a fast-paced data and e-commerce environment Gain practical experience in data quality management at scale Learn structured processes and cross-team collaboration with QA, Product, and Tech #LI-Onsite By submitting this, you agree to this Privacy Notice and you will be deemed to have consented to the collection, use, and disclosure of your Personal Information in accordance with this Privacy Notice: <https://adaglobal.com/privacy-policy/> Unfortunately, we are only able to contact shortlisted applicants.
