Manager - Project

Job Objectives Create delivery excellence across assigned project/portfolio, provide certainty and confidence to the stakeholder/project sponsor, and robust control of project scope, schedule, cost and risk. As a project manager, manage the life cycle (proposal-initiation-execution/control-closeout) of Information Corporate Technology projects. Job Role: · Responsible for overall monitoring and controlling of the project and managing dependencies between the various streams. · Provides overall guidance, direction, motivation and focus to the project team. · Manages and monitors project costs, governance, and changes to scope and ensures quality. · Prepares the project charter, project plan and other project documentation (refer to project documentation matrix). · Reports progress to stakeholders and organises monthly steering committee meetings. · Ensures that to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and cost. · Responsible for overall monitoring and controlling of the project and managing dependencies between the various streams. · Provides overall guidance, direction, motivation and focus to the project team. · Manages and monitors project costs, governance, and changes to scope and ensures quality. · Prepares the project charter, project plan and other project documentation (refer to project documentation matrix). · Reports progress to stakeholders and organises monthly steering committee meetings. · Ensures that to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and cost. · Oversee quality control procedures and ensure compliance with project specifications. · Identifies project risks/issues and recommends corrective action to mitigate them. · Responsible for validating the overall test plan, including integration and performance testing. Job Requirements Academic Qualifications: · · Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent Project Management degree in a relevant field · · Certified PMP from PMI or IPMA-C Practical Experiences: · · UAE National: 3 years in a role with PMO or project management responsibilities. · · knowledge of project management methodologies, Agile practices, and technical frameworks. · · Excellent planning, scheduling, and resource management skills.
