Job Description Allied Universal® Event Services, an Allied Universal® Company, is hiring a Vice President, Special Client Operations. The Vice President, Special Client Operations will establish and maintain effective working relationships between Key Special Clients and Operations. The Vice President, Special Client Operations acts as the strategic business leader for key clients. RESPONSIBILITIES: Act as Subject Manager Expert, providing strategic recommendations and insights into matters related to the effective operations of key clients; ensure service requirements are delivered by spearheading development and implementation of robust processes and infrastructure Liaise with internal functions and Allied Universal Event Services (AUES) operations leadership to build relationships and improve service delivery to our valued key clients Create and support enhanced management reporting, information flow, business process, and organizational planning using business intelligence tools Provide project management oversight for administrative and operational teams during special events; delegate tasks; ensure deadlines service expectations are met and exceeded QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess one or more of the following: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Event Management/Planning, or related field of study with a minimum of eight (8) years of practical experience in an events/guest services environment Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Event Management/Planning, or related field of study with a minimum of ten (10) years of practical experience in an events/guest services environment Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a leadership role involving the delivery of event and guest services to large multi-location customers Work history to include demonstration of: Strong customer service skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Detailed logistical and analytical skills Demonstrated understanding of business processes and their purpose Excellent organizational and prioritization skills Strong understanding and skill in ABI system management Planning and organizing Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications Problem solving skills Active listening skills Encourage effective teamwork Assess and evaluate situations effectively Identify critical issues quickly and accurately Compile, sort, and interpret data Research, investigate, compile information Mediate conflict with tact, diplomacy Write informatively, clearly, and accurately Team leadership; coaching, mentoring, motivating Strategic Orientation Setting and achieving goals Attention to detail PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in Business, Event Management/Planning, or related field of study BENEFITS: Medical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, and disability insurance Enrollment in our company’s 401(k)plan, subject to eligibility requirements Eight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal days Vacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly.
