OPEN POSITIONS

ASSISTANT SWIM TEAM COACH (2)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (ALL POSITIONS)

Minimum age of 16 or older (with valid NYS working papers for minors)
Minimum of three years of experience in all levels of competitive swim participation at the scholastic, collegiate or club level.
Previous swim team coaching experience required.

Experience with Meet and Team

Manager Software is preferred.
Basic computer skills required.
Be able to pass the CDYMCA swim test, as administered by the Aquatic Director or designated individual
Basic computer skills, with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to relate to diverse groups in the community
Basic life support or professional rescuer CPR/AED, First Aid, and Emergency Oxygen Administration
(completed within 30 days of hire)
New Employee Orientation, Sexual Harassment, ALICE (Active Shooter), and Bloodborne Pathogens trainings
(completed within 90 days of hire)

LIFEGUARDS

Must have a valid lifeguard certification
(within 30 days of hire)
and demonstrate lifeguard skills in accordance with YMCA standards

SCHEDULED SHIFTS

Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 6:30pm - 8:30pm (flexibility with days)
