Specialist Material Handler

Full Time, 3rd Shift, 10:30p-7:00a, 4 week days and every other weekend

Operating and maintaining the trash and Linen chutes for the tower and operating room. Must know the proper care and cleaning of chutes, the care and cleaning of the different types of carts, the types of floor care and general cleaning. Must have knowledge of proper bagging of trash and linen and how to use spill kit for blood and body fluid cleaning.

Job Qualifications

High school graduate or GED equivalent required

Must have a valid current SC driver’s license required

Must have Industrial Power Truck Training and Certification and/or must have certification within 2 months of employment

Must have good verbal and verbal written communication and good hand/eye coordination

Personal computer, printer, computer software, electric tuggers, hand trucks, electric pallet jack, forklift, personal lift, copier, calculator, delivery vehicles, telephones, various forms and records
