Patient Care Technician I, Behavioral Health Center, Full Time

Special Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• S.C Nurse Aide Certification OR passed fundamentals in RN/LPN school OR completed Surg Tech or EMT course OR completed 2-year
• Health Science Technology Program OR completed Patient Care Tech course OR successfully completed the SRH PCT program, OR
• Graduate of an accredited nursing assistant program, certification eligible. Must achieve certification within 3 months of hire.
• BLS certified.
• If PCT II: worked in at least 2 units independently; delivered one in-service or participated in one special project; was a positive role
• model for students/peers; was a preceptor if needed.
• If PCT III: worked in at least 3 units independently or covered 2+ roles; delivered/participated in two in-services and/or special
• projects; was a positive role model for students/peers; was a preceptor.
