Job Purpose Plan, implement and evaluate all safety and disaster management programs and initiatives for the Bank; and, ensure institutional compliance to related Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) law and standards. 2. Review existing safety policies and programs and provide recommendations or new insights and develop programs based on current laws, trends and best practices 3.2. Review safety standards, policies and procedures to ensure compliance to DOLE-Bureau of Working Conditions (BWC) and other government agencies. SDM Officer work in collaboration with other FSG Department 3.3. Conducts safety inspection and disaster prevention related trainings 3.4. Acts as Assistant Lead for Emergency Operations and Disaster Response 3.5. Assist the Safety Head in overseeing the implementing guidelines and OSH standards mandated by law. 3.6. SDM Officer assumes the role as the interim Head in the event the SDM head is on leave/out of office indefinitely/temporarily 3.7. Minimum of 3 years experience as SO 2. 4. Approves the Job Hazard Analysis of 3 rd Party Contractors. 2. Approves safety action plans as deemed necessary. 3. Endorses the implementation of safety programs to the Chief Safety Officer. 4. Endorses the DOLE-related reports to the Chief Safety Officer. 5. Endorses the financial component of the safety budget and related initiatives. 5. Knowledge, Skills & Experience KNOWLEDGE Completed at least the Basic Occupational Safety & Health Training At least a Safety Officer II (40 Hours training) Have demonstrable knowledge of safety and/or security practices SKILLS Analytical with good problem-solving aptitude With organizational and leadership skills ATTRIBUTES Able to adapt in fast paced working environment with urgency and accuracy.
