TECHNICAL MANAGER (JAVA) Job Summary The Technical Manager is responsible for the hands-on development, maintenance, and enhancement of enterprise applications, with a strong focus on Java-based solutions. The role leads the delivery of technical solutions across front-end, back-end, and integration components while ensuring application stability, compliance, and alignment with business requirements. Responsibilities Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Java-based applications to support business, operational, and regulatory requirements of the Bank Perform hands-on full-stack development, including front-end, back-end, API, and system integration components, while ensuring adherence to development standards and best practices Lead application support activities, including incident, problem, and change management, to ensure service level commitments and system availability are consistently met Conduct systems analysis, technical design, code reviews, and solution implementation while providing technical guidance to developers and project teams Collaborate with business users, vendors, and technology teams to deliver application enhancements, manage technical risks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field At least 5 years of experience in Java development, including hands-on application design, development, maintenance, and support of enterprise systems Strong proficiency in Java, Oracle databases, SQL, application development lifecycle methodologies, and systems analysis and design Experience in full-stack development, including front-end technologies, back-end services, APIs, and system integration frameworks Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, preferably with experience in banking or financial services environments
