**Salary: $110,000 - $125,000 + Bonus + Benefits**

**Estimator Description**

Our client is looking for an Estimator to add to their team in Plano, TX. You will be responsible for supporting the sales and construction teams through all phases of the estimating process for municipal, public-sector, and commercial construction projects. In this role, you will review plans and bid packages, prepare proposals, and respond to bid requests for public and private projects. This position requires the ability to estimate projects from the ground up, including municipal park spaces, site development, grading, drainage systems, utilities, hardscapes, landscaping, parking lots, amenity buildings, and other public construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience estimating commercial construction and the ability to manage estimates from concept through completion. To be successful in this role, you must be a self-starter, with strong organizational skills and the ability to engage confidently with architects, contractors, municipalities, and project stakeholders. **Estimator Responsibilities**

  • Support the sales and construction teams through estimating functions
  • Review plans, specifications, and bid packages for public and private projects
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, proposals, and bid submissions
  • Estimate projects from the ground up, including municipal park spaces, site development, utilities, drainage, hardscapes, and amenity buildings
  • Solicit, evaluate, and incorporate subcontractor and vendor pricing
  • Consistently produce accurate, high-quality estimates and proposals
  • Meet with architects, engineers, contractors, municipalities, and customers as needed
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders throughout the preconstruction process
  • Visit sites to assist with layouts, planning, and design coordination as needed
  • Prioritize excellent customer service with timely communication and responsiveness
  • Actively contribute to achieving company goals and project success

**Estimator Qualifications**

  • Commercial construction estimating experience required
  • Experience estimating earthwork and underground utilities required
  • Proficiency with takeoff and estimating software required
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude required
