About The Role
Conducting physical examinations of infants, children, and adolescents
. Diagnosing and treating common childhood illnesses, such as asthma, allergies, and infections
Monitoring the growth and development of children and providing advice to parents on nutrition, immunizations, and
developmental milestones
Diagnosing and treating developmental disorders, such as autism and ADHD
Referring children to specialists for further evaluation and treatment when necessary
Providing counseling and support to parents on topics such as child behavior, discipline, and safety
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, social workers, and therapists, to provide comprehensive
care to children.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient
Staying current on the latest research and medical treatments in pediatrics through continuing education and attending
conferences.
Education · Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. · Completion of an accredited residency program in Otolaryngology,
Experience · Minimum 3 years’ experience post Board Qualification
Certification and Licensure · Valid DOH License
Job Specific Knowledge and Skills · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose complex Otolaryngology conditions accurately. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team. · Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make critical decisions during emergencies. · Commitment to patient safety, compassionate care, and ethical medical practices.
