as an

Endoscopy Nurse

, providing specialized, age-appropriate care in the Endoscopy and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). You will collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and allied health teams to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care for patients undergoing endoscopy procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist patients for endoscopy procedures.
• Perform pre-procedure checks, IV administration, and assist during procedures.
• Conduct post-procedure monitoring in PACU.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient confidentiality.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, pain management, and care plans.

Requirements

Education & Licensure

• Registered Nurse (valid license in home country and DOH).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Competency in conscious and deep sedation.

Experience

Minimum 2 years hospital experience in endoscopy.

Skills

• Knowledge of endoscopy procedures and patient care protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (English & Arabic).
• Ability to perform patient assessments, administer medications, and assist physicians.
• Basic computer literacy.

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to work in high-stress environments and irregular hours, including on-call.
• Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, lifting and moving patients/equipment safely.
