Job Purpose

To operate, monitor, and maintain nasal spray filling and packing machinery, ensuring consistent product quality and compliance with GMP guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation

• Operate nasal spray filling, crimping, labeling, and packing machines as per the production plan.
• Perform line clearance and equipment setup as per SOPs.
• Ensure correct machine settings (speed, volume, etc.) before and during production.
• Monitor the operation continuously for smooth functioning and product quality.

Routine Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Conduct minor maintenance like cleaning, lubrication, and tightening.
• Identify basic mechanical issues and report major breakdowns to the maintenance team.
• Assist in changeover and cleaning of equipment between batches.

Documentation

• Fill machine logbooks, cleaning records, and equipment usage logs accurately and timely.
• Ensure compliance with documentation practices as per GMP standards.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all safety protocols while operating machinery.
• Wear appropriate PPE and maintain personal hygiene in the cleanroom environment.
• Comply with quality and regulatory requirements.

Coordination

• Coordinate with production team, maintenance, and quality departments during operations.
• Inform supervisor of any deviations or abnormalities in real-time.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

: ITI / Diploma / 12th pass with technical skills.

Experience

: 1–3 years of experience in machine operation in a pharmaceutical/Nasal/Injectable manufacturing unit.

Skills

• Understanding of GMP and cleanroom practices.
• Mechanical aptitude to operate and troubleshoot machines.
• Basic documentation and record-keeping skills.
