About The Role
Overview The Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and quality-driven production across assigned lines. This role drives daily operations, Team Member development, and continuous improvement to meet customer demand while reducing cost and variability. Responsibilities To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.) Ensure safety plan adherence (hazard identification, near miss reporting, and corrective actions) Ensure OSHA Compliance; lead daily safety walks and weekly audits Drive ergonomic improvements Ensure IATF 16949/ISO 9001 compliance Ensure control plans and standardized work are maintained, lead defect containment, and root cause analysis Ensure Production KPI’s are achieved – escalate prior to any impact Ensure production lines are properly staffed to meet the daily production build requirements Manage Team Leaders, coach for performance, engagement, and problem-solving Maintain circle of skills and rotation plans – develop cross-training plans Maintain attendance, discipline, and morale – recognize and reward high performance Maintain 5S Standards Coordinate with Logistics on stock level concerns Coordinate with other supporting areas (e.g., Safety, Maintenance, Quality, Facilities) when opportunities arise Support any additional tasks assigned AUTHORITY & SCOPE Supervisory Responsibilities: Yes Qualifications (The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.) Required Education & Experience: High School Diploma Minimum of three (3) years in a supervisor role in a fast-paced manufacturing setting Must be able to work overtime or other shifts as required Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Microsoft Office experience (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) Leadership skills and the ability to motivate Team Members Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills Must be able to lift up to 40lbs [unless specified heavy] Excellent communication (Verbal and Written) Good organizational skills Preferred Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing or related field Automotive industry experience SAP experience Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: None Required Working Conditions: Production floor setting, repetitive standing, walking within and between buildings, travel both domestic and international. Must be able to climb, stoop, crouch, kneel, pull, and reach as needed. Working shifts consist of Monday-Friday, Overtime/Weekends as needed. Subject to change as needed.
