About The Role

About the Role The Collections Legal Officer leader is responsible for managing their assigned external Accredited Legal Agencies (ALA), and the small claims portfolio, which handle collections activities for PRE and POST-Write off accounts endorsed by PRE and LATE Collections teams. The purpose of this role is to ensure endorsement with respect to the allocation and distribution matrix designed by management following the BSP and JUDICIARY rules to ALAs, and SMALL CLAIMS, ensure compliance of both teams with standards based on the governing agencies procedures and ensure that the KPIs for each assigned team and team members are met. How you'll contribute Manage the endorsement of PRE and POST - Write off account endorsement and allocation to the respective team and assigned ALAs, ensuring compliance with the Endorsement Matrix. Propose opportunities to the Collection Legal Team Leader to enhance/modify the Endorsement Matrix to improve results related to KPIs. Monitor handled ALA and Legal officers efforts in achieving targets for composite flow rates, recoveries, and other performance metrics, and propose methods to increase Regular Legal and Small claims team’s performance related to the metrics to the ACA & ALA Management Unit Head. Perform callouts to ALA owner/s, supervisors, and collectors and Legal officers to review and assess their performance against targets in productivity, attendance, and discipline. Ensure that ALA Agents perform collections actions in compliance with SBC Accredited Collections Agency Policy and Memorandum of Agreement. Review and approve requests for waivers and payment proposals based on existing guidelines. Monitor Memorandum of Agreement between the Bank and the Agency for yearly renewal. What we’re looking for Must be a Bachelor’s degree holder in any related field With at least 3 years of relevant experience Knowledge of bank’s products and processes, BSP Circulars related to collections particularly Circular 857- Consumer Protection Frame work and industry practice in Complaints Management Good verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to adjust and interact Must have good critical thinking skills and exercise sound judgement About Security Bank Security Bank is one of the Philippines’ best capitalized private domestic universal banks.
