About The Role

About the Role As an Account Officer , you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and administration of the investment funds of assigned institutional accounts. Contributes to the volume and revenue growth targets of assigned accounts through contributions made to and the trust fee earnings of assigned accounts, incremental business from existing accounts and new accounts opened. How you'll contribute Client Relationship Management Conducts client visits to assigned accounts to update clients with respect to documentary requirements, new regulations, investment portfolio and such other information that may be relevant. Services all requirements of accounts to include but not limited to servicing and funding withdrawals, queries related to investments and/or the account/covering trust agreement and submits reports as may be requested by clients; also responsible in encoding all daily investment transactions in the Trust system. Financial Markets Analysis Coordinates with the Investments Team on strategic direction for both fixed income and equity investments Marketing Adeptness Conducts joint calls or meetings with Sales and Marketing when necessary when presenting to potential clients to manage their excess funds or manage new Trust/IMA accounts. Portfolio/Investment Management Recommends investment opportunities to managed accounts based on research and inputs from the Investments team to optimize investment returns. Ensures asset mix is within the client's investment mandate/s and objective/s via regular monitoring of portfolio movements to ensure compliance with the agreed asset mix and taking into consideration the liquidity, timing of investments in coordination with the investments team and other particular requirements of the clients. Arranges investment of funds and the disposition of investments on a timely basis based on the Investments Team's strategic direction for fixed income and equity investments to achieve returns that are better than benchmarks. Prepares , submits and/or conducts fund presentation review reports to clients at least once a year or more frequently upon request as part of the committed service to institutional clients. Coordinates with internal units and external units, when necessary, to ensure the proper administration and management of clients' trust and managed accounts Provides daily cash balances for actively traded accounts Ensures funding of trades dealt for actively managed accounts. Prepares and presents Fund Performance Review reports on a periodic basis (i.e. monthly, quarterly) and submits the same to clients within the agreed timeline. Encodes select investment transactions (Cash/Bonds/Loans) in the trust system. Regularly updates clients on capital/financial/stock market developments as well as government policies and implementing rules and regulations (IRRs) affecting the fiduciary business. Ensures the timely and proper collection of fees and/or advances, if any, from assigned accounts. Assists the Project Team Head and/or the Business Analyst in conducting the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the new Trust System or any enhancement projects in the Trust System and/or such other platform or IT programs used by Trust. Assists the Department Head in addressing queries, taking appropriate actions and/or submitting documentary requirements in compliance with internal and external auditors in their regular conduct of audit examination of the Division. Conducts annual accounts' review of all assigned accounts in compliance with BSP regulations. Addresses any Audit, Risk or Compliance issues/queries with respect to the assigned accounts. What we're looking for At least 3-4 years in related fields. With Bachelor's degree and preferably in Mathematics/Statistics, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking Knowledge of institutional trust products; proficiency in financial and economic analysis Effective presentation skills; working proficiency in MS Excel/Powerpoint/Word and other proprietary software (i.e. Bloomberg) Keen attention to details; able to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders as part of the account management effort; able to manage client requests and multi-task when necessary About Security Bank Security Bank is one of the Philippines’ best capitalized private domestic universal banks.
