The Role As Finance Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting the Financial Controller in building up and sustaining the financial accounting and reporting function through accurate, complete, and timely submission of agreed deliverables and providing recommendations to further improve productivity and quality of service. How you'll contribute Supervise the work of junior members of the team to ensure accurate and timely preparation of SBF and KS financial statements, management reports, taxation working papers, and related schedules Performs financial statement review (monthly, quarterly, and annually) through investigation, inquiry, and analytical procedures to ensure that the amounts and disclosures in the financial statements are in order and present a fair view of the company’s condition and performance Liaise with internal and external parties, including, but not limited to: regulators, internal and external auditors, and venturers SBC and KS in areas of accounting, financial reporting, and taxation. Identify and recommend on areas of improvement to existing processes within the reporting and analysis function, including maximizing current tech stack and/or spearheading department projects on automation and digitization Documents process manuals and updates them on a timely basis to manage operational risk What we're looking for Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy and Certified Public Accountant With at least 2 yrs. experience in Accounting/Audit/Taxation, Banking and Finance, General/Cost Accounting Proficiency in applying Philippine Financial Reporting Standards Strong analytical and computer skills including Excel and PowerPoint. Effective interpersonal and communication skills; Conflict management and problem-solving skills; Project management skills Knowledge in using ERP system.
