About The Role
About the Role As Late Collections Head, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, strategies, and collections activities across products for customers in late delinquency. How you’ll contribute Develop strategies, conceptualize programs, adjustments to collections processes, and implement action plans that are in line with each business’s goals of the Late Collections Department, and ensure their successful execution by supervising the different units and teams. Monitor and update established KRA and KPIs of supervised units regularly, to enhance teams’ performance. Ensure roll rates trigger, delinquency, and cash collected trigger fulfilment monthly. Ensure the timely foreclosure of assets (Mortgage and Auto) for ROPA booking to improve delinquency. Analyze and regularly update provided operative, productivity and efficiency reports, and evaluate results to draw conclusions for strategic decision-making. Portfolio health check (e.g. worklist, ACA endorsement, exclusions) Develop a yearly Late Collections Plan according to the bank’s strategy and a roadmap for executing the plan. Develop a long-term collections strategy in coordination with the Pre & Early Collections Department Head and Collections Strategy & Analytics Department Head, to control delinquency at all stages. Develop and maintain awareness of industry trends, best practices and the regulatory environment as it relates to the collections process Ensure robust governance, processes and controls are in place across the entire Department. Update and documentation of Late Collection processes What we’re looking for With more than 10 years expertise in collections Knowledge of bank’s products and processes, BSP Circulars related to collections particularly Circular 857 - Consumer Protection Framework, and industry practice in Complaints Management Highly effective interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, engage, and establish credibility with stakeholders at all organizational levels. Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence. Strong people management skills.
