Credit Officer

Job Responsibility

1. Responsible to be familiar with client’s business/financials and make Analysis/Justification to take appropriate Credit Risk.
2. Collect updated financial and non-financial information necessary for Credit Application and regular Monitoring in timely manner.
3. Cooperate with RM and effectively communicate with clients/external parties to collect necessary/updated information.
4. Leverage Sector knowledge for Risk Management as well as Business Promotion.
5. Proactively manage schedule to complete Annual Monitoring, renewal of credit facility.
6. Closely monitor clients business/financials, and take necessary action if any sign/events of credit deterioration in timely manner.
7. Be familiar with Self-Assessment and Problem Asset Management and prepare report regularly.
8. Respond to any credit conditions and instructions in timely manner.
9. Be familiar with the rules and regulation (external/internal) and strictly comply with them.
10. Closely communicate with Head Office or any other relevant departments / sections for the update/confirmation of rules and procedure.
11. Be familiar with the documentation (terms and condition) in order to protect the bank from any future credit events.
12. Prepare credit related reports for regulators, auditors or any other departments / sections.
13. Assist RM for structuring the deal (collect information and narrow down the risk).
14. Be familiar with profitability (risk and return) by running ROE/ SMVA model.

Job Requirement

• University graduate; min. 5 year experience in banking/financial services industry.

Experience of Relationship Manager will be especially welcomed (not mandatory).

• Good risk management and business/financial analysis skill (B/S, P/L, C/S).
• Knowledge of banking products, regulation.

• -Good communication skill, commitment, diligence, logical thinking, attention to details.
• -Fluent Chinese & English, Good PC skills.
