Senior Credit Analyst

About The Role

  1. Review and assess credit applications submitted by domestic and overseas branches, mainly for credit exposures related to Chinese-funded enterprises both onshore and offshore.
  2. Conduct credit risk analysis including financial performance, business operations and industry risk of corporate and FI clients.
  3. Perform ongoing credit monitoring and portfolio management, ensuring proper risk classification and early risk identification.
  4. Review compliance with credit approval conditions and support post-approval management, including review and renewal.
  5. Coordinate with lending branches and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of credit-related processes.
  6. Other miscellaneous of the Credit Dept.
  7. 5-10 years of experience in credit analysis within financial institutions.
  8. Bachelor's degree or above in finance, accounting, economics or related disciplines.
  9. Good command of English,both speaking & writing capabilities.
  10. Solid understanding of corporate / FI credit analysis, financial and managerial accounting, and credit risk control methodologies of international banks.
  11. Hands-on experience or solid exposure to cross-border / offshore credit transactions; familiarity with credit business of onshore and offshore Chinese-funded enterprises is preferred.
  12. Strong risk assessment and analytical skills, good information-gathering ability, and effective communication and teamwork skills.
