About The Role

  1. Originate and structure onshore and offshore loan products for Chinese and multinational borrowers in close coordination with coverage and distribution teams.
  2. Lead and support syndicated loan execution, including syndicate formation, pricing strategy and sell-down to ensure successful distribution.
  3. Drive innovation in syndicated loan products and transaction structures in response to market demand and regulatory environment.
  4. Support offshore CM teams in cross-border loan origination and execution, including overseas financings in mainland China-Hong Kong, Japan and other markets.
  5. Facilitate domestic distribution to support offshore transactions and expand the Chinese investor base, including banks and institutional investors.
  6. Work jointly with relevant coverage teams to deliver integrated financing solutions and conduct client pitching for loan and bond mandates.
  7. Coordinate documentation, negotiation and closing processes with legal, credit and other relevant teams to ensure timely and compliant execution.
  8. Closely monitor syndicated loan market trends, investor appetite, regulatory and legal developments, and provide timely market insights.
  9. Contribute to franchise building by enhancing market position, growing fee income, and providing regular management reporting and business ideas.
  10. Graduate with major in Economics, Finance, ideally with MBA/CFA
  11. Solid experience in loan capital markets, syndicated loans or related loan products at major banks, financial institutions or asset management firms in mainland China, Hong Kong or other major financial markets.
  12. Strong understanding of syndicated loan structuring, syndication processes and investor distribution dynamics.
  13. Good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
  14. Self-motivated, responsible and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently under pressure while being a strong team player.
  15. Fluent in both written and spoken English, Chinese and ideally Japanese as well
