Category Manager - Electronics

The Category Executive – Electronics will be responsible for managing and growing the Electronics category within

Retail by Snoonu’s First-Party (1P) business

. The role will own vendor relationships, commercial negotiations, assortment strategy, pricing, promotions, and inventory performance to drive category growth and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

🛠 What You’ll Get Your Hands On

• Manage and develop strategic partnerships with electronics vendors for Retail by Snoonu.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing strategies, promotional support, and advertising investments.
• Identify, source, and onboard new local and international electronics vendors.
• Develop and execute category growth strategies, including assortment optimization, pricing, and promotional plans.
• Monitor and improve key category performance metrics, including availability, price competitiveness, catalog quality, and sales performance.
• Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive insights to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance customer experience and vendor performance.
• 🧙‍♂️ The Magic You Bring
• 4–5 years of experience in category management, vendor management, buying, or commercial roles.
• Mandatory: Hands-on experience managing the Electronics category, with strong knowledge of electronics products, suppliers, and market dynamics.
• Experience in e-commerce, q-commerce, retail, or marketplace environments.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive business decisions.
• Proven experience in supplier negotiations and commercial relationship management.
• GCC market experience in category or vendor management is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
