Senior Citrix / Linux Administration Engineer

About The Role

Required skills -

  • Deep experience with Citrix architecture & design. Including ADC/NetScaler (13.0+), Citrix

ADM, WEM, XenApp, XenDesktop, High Availability, resiliency/redundancy, GSLB etc.

  • Experience in Linux Administration, ideally RedHat / CentOS
  • Experience of Linux OS upgrade, and migration.
  • Extensive experience administrating Red Hat, CentOS, Debian or any enterprise or community Linux platform, with minimal support, including patching, package management, performance tuning, troubleshooting, networking, user management, and security.
  • Extensive experience with scripting in Bash or Python.
  • In-depth experience with Config Management tools/frameworks such as Ansible and Puppet.
  • Detailed Knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, LDAP, SMTP, NFS and SNMP.
  • Experience in Configuration, Management & Troubleshooting for technologies - Nginx,

HAProxy, Apache, Squid, Iptables/Shorewall, SSL Certificates

  • Detailed knowledge of Linux System Monitoring (Solarwinds & Nagios) and reporting.
  • Detailed knowledge of NTP/PTP, Time synchronization Technologies
  • Knowledge of application and server fault tolerance and load balancing services.
  • Knowledge in Linux Server Hardening, Vulnerability Assessment and Linux Server Patching.
  • Hands on experience with installation of MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL will be added
  • advantage.
  • Experience with SAN/SCSI storage systems, network attached storage systems, NFS, CIFS

(Windows and Samba)

  • Experience with incident management, change control management, and problem

management support processes and methodologies.

  • Deep experience in design/implementation/support of Windows Active Directory (AD) services, FSMO, DNS, replication etc.
  • Experience in deploying Citrix environments (on-prem/hybrid/cloud) from scratch or upgrading/migrating existing deployments (7.15/1912+)
  • In-depth knowledge of implementing and supporting distributed Windows Certification Authority infrastructure (ADCS)
  • Proven experience implementing and supporting SAML/SSO deployments and integrations with Citrix
  • Experience with AD GPO and secure configurations.
