Senior ClickHouse Platform Engineer / SME Location : India (Preferred) · Candidate should be willing to overlap with PST for critical incidents. Experience · 8+ years overall experience · 3+ years hands-on ClickHouse experience · Strong Data Engineering background · Production support experience Job Description We are looking for a Senior ClickHouse Platform Engineer to support a mission-critical Microsoft telemetry and reporting platform. The resource will act as the primary ClickHouse SME responsible for platform support, troubleshooting, performance optimization, dashboard enablement, and production stability. Key Responsibilities · Provide L2/L3 support for ClickHouse platform issues. · Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks across large-scale analytical workloads. · Optimize ClickHouse queries, schemas, partitions, and materialized views. · Support onboarding of new dashboards and reports. · Perform root cause analysis for critical production incidents. · Work closely with reporting and analytics teams to achieve strict performance SLAs. · Support AKS/Kubernetes-hosted ClickHouse environments. · Provide guidance on platform best practices and operational excellence. · Participate in architecture and performance review discussions. · Create operational runbooks and knowledge articles.
