ASSISTANT MANAGER

Project Accounting Monitor project costs and budgets. Track project profitability and cost variances. Recognize revenue based on applicable accounting standards (such as percentage of completion or other relevant methods). Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Prepare budgets and forecasts. Analyze project financial performance. Support management with profitability and cash flow analysis. Cost Control Review procurement and subcontractor costs. Identify opportunities for cost optimization. Ensure expenses remain within approved budgets. Contract & Commercial Finance Review contract terms from a financial perspective. Assess financial risks related to projects. Monitor claims, variations (change orders), and billing milestones. Taxation & Compliance Handle GST/VAT, income tax, TDS/withholding tax, customs duties, and other statutory requirements. Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulations. Coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits. Treasury & Cash Flow Management Plan project cash flows. Manage working capital. Coordinate with banks for guarantees, letters of credit, and project financing. MIS & Reporting Prepare monthly management reports. Present key financial metrics to senior management. Support decision-making with financial insights. Risk Management Monitor financial and commercial risks. Ensure adequate internal controls. Help prevent fraud and financial losses. Skills Required Strong knowledge of accounting standards (Ind AS/IFRS, depending on the organization). Expertise in taxation and statutory compliance. Advanced Excel skills. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics. Financial modeling and analytical skills. Understanding of project management concepts.
