About The Role
The Role: As the HR Generalist, you will join our Durex Industries and support…is responsible, detail-oriented, forward-thinking, and able to work independently and with the highest levels of integrity. This position will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding employees while factoring in the long-term goals. Additionally, this position will maintain the affirmative action applicant log, open job and interview log as well as form relationships with different recruitment organizations. Your Responsibilities: Responsible for talent sourcing of hourly, non-exempt positions and maintaining a talent pipeline for roles throughout the plant. Develops, facilitates and implements all phases of the recruitment process. Conduct pre-screen phone interviews of candidates; for candidates who pass the phone screen scheduling interviews with the hiring manager and other decision makers. Coordination of candidates throughout the hiring process and extending offers to final candidates and regrets to candidates not selected. Collaborates with hiring managers to create requisitions, update job descriptions and keep hiring managers and HR Manager up to date on where candidates are in the process. Maintain open position and interview spreadsheets own the onboarding process for hourly employees, partnering with other individuals on the HR team for coordination. Build relationships with local organizations, trade schools, colleges, veteran’s groups and diversity sources to support the talent pipeline. Source candidates through online government required job boards, diversity sources, local organizations, trade schools and college sources. Actively participate in job fairs in the local market and at colleges. Maintain a calendar for job fairs and tracking records of the candidates/hires from the job fairs for evaluation. Maintain budget information for ad placement and cost of job fairs. Provide insight and market information regarding. Cross Functional Teamwork: Confers with Human Resource Manager on all compliance issues, policy procedure violations or unusual or non-standard matters. Works individually and as part of a team on special projects and assignments for Companywide initiatives. Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy. Support of company, department, and/or safety policies, procedures, programs and activities. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or comparable years of experience 1 - 3 years of experience working in talent acquisition / recruiting Bilingual (Spanish) Previous recruitment experience in a manufacturing environment Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities Ability to demonstrate sound judgment, including maintaining highly confidential information. Be self-motivated, flexible and adaptable to complete assigned tasks; results driven Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office, MS Dynamics a plus Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a professional business environment verbally, electronically and written. Highly organized and detail oriented Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship, both now and in the future.
