Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following

◆ Ideate - You will contribute to developing new visions of future state Starbucks endeavors through your own individual work as well as brainstorming sessions, ranging from impromptu two-person riffs to more formalized multi-disciplinary convocations.

◆ Create - You will turn ideas into reality. The ability to rapidly prototype and iterate is paramount. Now is the time to put those maker skills to use in creating proof-of-concept models that often require a blending of mechanical, plumbing, electrical and software components. These prototypes are meant to demonstrate the technical feasibility of a concept and/or user experience.

◆ Evaluate – You will critically, analytically and emotionally assess ideas, prototypes and finished equipment in an effort to bring out the very best in a concept. Then you may loop back to ideating on how to make it even better.

◆ Communicate – You will need to clearly express your ideas visually, verbally and in writing to a variety of

audiences (e.g. technical and non-technical, internal and external partners, peers and management,etc). You will also need to listen to users in order to accurately and effectively turn their needs into guiding principles and specifications.

Basic qualifications for this role are

• ◆ 2+ years of experience in making innovative beverage/foods
• ◆ 2+ years of experience in Store operation,
• ◆ SS level at least

• ◆ Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Project
• ◆ Knowledge and application of food principles
