**Position:** Construction Project Scheduler

**Reports to:** Manager of Scheduling

**Location:** Columbus, Ohio

**Pay Range:** $75,000 - $100,000

We consider several factors when preparing a compensation package for successful candidates.

Superior is looking for a Scheduler to join our team. The Scheduler is responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring seamless sequencing of tasks to achieve project objectives. This role works closely with Project Operations, Field Operations, general contractors, and suppliers to optimize timelines, allocate resources, and minimize delays. The Scheduler plays a pivotal role in planning and coordinating electrical construction projects. This role is based at our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Create and update project electrical construction schedules using P6, considering activities, sequencing, resources, and constraints
  • Establish accurate timelines for construction activities, accounting for dependencies and critical paths
  • Coordinate with Project Operations, Field Operations, and stakeholders to allocate resources efficiently, resolve conflicts, and minimize delays
  • Monitor project progress by collecting and analyzing data, identifying schedule deviations, risks, and opportunities for efficiency improvements
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of schedules, progress reports, change orders, and relevant records
  • Generate regular reports, presentations, and updates to stakeholders on project status, milestones, and upcoming activities
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in construction scheduling through continuous professional development

**Your Expertise**

  • Required: You have at least 1 year of construction scheduling experience or at least 4 years of electrical construction experience
  • Required: You have earned a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Systems Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • Bonus Points: You are proficient in construction scheduling software (e.g. Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC), Primavera P6, Microsoft Project)
  • Bonus Points: You have knowledge in electrical construction processes, methods, and terminology
