Group Company: Suzlon Energy Limited Designation: Team Member - Area Craneless Ops Office Location: Mahidad Surendranagar (Site), Kuchhdi Porbandar (Site), Morbi Jamnagar (Site) Position description: Description Primary Responsibilities: Team Member – Area Craneless Operations Department: OMS – Engineering / Operations Role Type: Area / Field Operations Reporting to: Incharge – Craneless Ops / Area Engineering Lead Role Purpose To execute craneless maintenance, breakdown, and repair activities across OMS sites in the assigned area, ensuring safe execution, quality workmanship, and minimal turbine downtime. Key Responsibilities Execute craneless maintenance and breakdown activities on wind turbines as per OMS standards. Perform major component repair/replacement support using craneless methodologies. Ensure strict adherence to HSE guidelines, work permits, and safety protocols. Support area engineering teams in planning and execution of craneless operations. Inspect tools, equipment, and rigging systems before and after use. Assist in fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and corrective actions. Ensure proper documentation of work execution, job cards, and service reports. Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and logistics teams. Support continuous improvement initiatives for uptime and operational efficiency. Be part of emergency response and breakdown support as required. Education & Experience ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics. 4–7 years of experience in wind turbine O&M, preferably in craneless operations. Experience working at heights and on multi‑MW WTG platforms is desirable. Key Skills & Competencies Hands‑on knowledge of craneless tools and methodologies. Good understanding of wind turbine systems and components. Strong safety orientation and discipline. Ability to work in challenging site conditions and extended hours. Team player with good coordination skills. Location Area‑based role with extensive travel across OMS sites.
