Group Company: Suzlon Energy Limited Designation: Incharge - State Blade & Composite Office Location: Banugar Jamnagar (Office) Position description: Description Primary Responsibilities: The In‑charge – State Blade & Composite Regional Operations is responsible for overseeing blade and composite repair, maintenance, and operational activities across the assigned state/region. The role ensures high quality, safety, turnaround time, and cost efficiency of blade and composite services while supporting OMS operational excellence and customer commitments. Key Responsibilities Regional Operations Management Lead and manage blade and composite operations across the assigned state/region. Ensure timely execution of blade inspection, repair, refurbishment, and composite maintenance activities. Monitor regional performance against SLAs, TAT, quality, and safety targets. Technical & Quality Excellence Ensure adherence to approved blade repair and composite standards, procedures, and specifications. Drive root cause analysis of blade failures and corrective/preventive actions. Coordinate technical validations, repair methodologies, and approvals with engineering teams. Safety & Compliance Ensure strict compliance with HSE, work‑at‑height, and composite safety standards. Support audits, inspections, and closure of safety and quality observations. Promote a strong safety culture across regional blade operations. Planning, Cost & Resource Management Plan manpower, tools, equipment, and material requirements for blade & composite activities. Drive cost optimization, productivity improvement, and efficient resource utilization. Coordinate with material planning and central purchase teams for consumables and spares. Stakeholder & Customer Coordination Act as the regional point of contact for blade & composite operations. Support customer interactions, escalations, and operational reviews related to blade health. Coordinate with area operations, engineering, QHSE, and contracts teams. MIS & Reporting Track and report regional blade performance, failures, repairs, and operational KPIs. Prepare MIS dashboards and periodic performance reports for leadership. Team Leadership Lead, mentor, and develop regional blade and composite teams. Drive training, certification, and skill upgradation programs.
