Software Development Engineer

Development and maintenance of embedded software for satellite tracking systems. Development and integration of drivers for SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, and Ethernet interfaces. Development of applications in C/C++ on embedded Linux or RTOS systems (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or similar). Implementation and maintenance of CANopen, SNMP, TCP/IP, UDP, and proprietary communication protocols. Customization and maintenance of embedded Linux distributions using Yocto and Buildroot. Development and debugging of Linux kernel modules and Device Trees. Preparation of technical documentation and execution of functional and integration tests. Participate in the definition and analysis of the system’s functional and technical requirements. Collaborate on defining the software and communications architecture of the products. Define validation and integration strategies, as well as test plans at the unit, subsystem, and system levels. Provide technical support and advice on design decisions. Provide technical leadership for the development of complex features, ensuring the quality, maintainability, and scalability of solutions. Plan, coordinate, and monitor development tasks within the team. Participate in project estimates, planning, and technical risk management. Conduct code, documentation, and architecture reviews to ensure compliance with quality standards.
