Position Summary

Techsol Engineers is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic

Civil Site Engineer

to support the execution of

City Gas Distribution (CGD) and CNG Station infrastructure projects

. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of civil engineering fundamentals and be eager to work in a fast-paced project environment.

The role involves supervising civil construction activities, coordinating with contractors and clients, monitoring project progress, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and supporting project documentation and billing activities.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution

• Execute civil construction activities for CNG stations, gas pipeline infrastructure, and associated utility works.
• Supervise day-to-day site activities to ensure timely project completion.
• Monitor project schedules and report progress to the Project Manager.
• Ensure execution is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
• Coordinate site resources for smooth project execution.

Site Supervision

• Monitor excavation, foundation, RCC works, paving, drainage, and structural activities.
• Verify construction quality and workmanship.
• Ensure proper material utilization and minimize wastage.
• Maintain daily site progress records and site diaries.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with engineering drawings.

Contractor & Labour Management

• Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and site labour.
• Monitor manpower deployment and productivity.
• Ensure contractors comply with project timelines and quality standards.
• Resolve day-to-day site execution issues.
• Verify contractor work completion before billing.

Vendor & Material Coordination

• Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of construction materials.
• Verify incoming materials for quantity and quality.
• Maintain material consumption records.
• Coordinate with procurement and stores for project requirements.

Customer Coordination

• Coordinate with customers and consultants during project execution.
• Attend site meetings and update customers on project progress.
• Support inspections by clients and statutory authorities.
• Address customer observations in coordination with the project team.

Documentation & Reporting

Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR), Weekly Reports, and Monthly Progress Reports.

Maintain project documentation including

Site Measurement Sheets

Work Completion Reports

Material Consumption Reports

Inspection Reports

Site Photographs

Update project records and submit reports to management.

Billing & Measurement

• Record executed quantities for billing purposes.
• Assist in preparation of Running Account (RA) Bills.
• Verify contractor bills against actual work completed.
• Support project commercial documentation.
• Coordinate with finance and commercial teams for billing approvals.

Site Visits & Inspections

• Visit project sites regularly to monitor progress.
• Conduct joint measurements with customers and contractors.
• Participate in project review meetings.
• Ensure project milestones are achieved as planned.

Quality & Safety

• Ensure compliance with company Quality Management System (QMS).
• Follow safety regulations and PPE requirements at project sites.
• Report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Support implementation of HSE guidelines.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's Degree (BE/B.Tech) in

Civil Engineering

.

Experience

• 0–2 years
• of experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects.
• Fresh graduates with internship or project experience are welcome to apply.
