About The Role
Position Purpose
- The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivery of care of comprehensive,
- quality care through use of the nursing process. This care is delivered to patients of all ages.
- Utilizes the nursing process by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating quality patient care to the patient in the unit.
- Identifies and collects data to determine nursing needs of the patient.
- Develops individualized nursing care plans based on assessment data including patient, physicians, and significant others in planning.
- Implements nursing care and coordinates care with the staff members.
- Evaluates care through patient and physician feedback and direct observation.
- Updates nursing care to reflect changes in the patient care needs.
Position Qualifications
- Current licensure as a RN in the Commonwealth of Pa., BLS required. ACLS required in GI Lab and preferred in Short Stay. PALS preferred in GI Lab and Short Stay.
- One to two years of previous/current medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
- Charge Nurse experience preferred. Current experience in the specialty preferred.
