About The Role

  • The Byng Group is a leading interior renovation general contractor with more than 50 years' experience and a team of over 500, specializing in high-rise rental properties.
  • We are currently hiring Painter/drywaller installers in the Windsor area to join our growing team!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Paint walls, ceilings, doors, hallways, shelving in Apartment Units
  • Prepares surfaces to be plastered
  • Fills in nicks and cuts in ceilings, walls, and partitions using plaster
  • Repair walls with drywall
  • Sand areas after each coat making drywall paint-ready

Drywall Repairs, Taping and Plastering

  • Drywall Installation is considered an asset
  • Framing with Metal Studs considered an asset

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 3 years’ experience as a painter and drywaller
  • Valid Ontario Driver's License with a clean Driver’s Abstract
  • Able to problem solve on-site and off-site
  • Ability to follow and complete a daily, weekly & monthly task schedule
  • Own Tools Required. They are not supplied.

Earn up to $25.00 - $35.00 per hour, rate is based on skillset and performance
