Job Description: Manufacturing Engineer Job Details a) Position & Designation Production/Manufacturing Engineer b) Grade P4/P3 c) Division & Department New Energy Division, Green Hydrogen Job Profile a) Key Objectives To independently manage the complete assembly, testing, and dispatch of Green Hydrogen equipment's/ skids at Thermax's in-house manufacturing facility by ensuring safe, high-quality, and on-time production while coordinating with design, SCM, quality, planning, and project teams. b) Major Deliverables · Ensure to get desired quality product from Thermax facility and support testing activities. · Ensure product manufacturing in accordance with Prepare QAP, QC and process sequence documents. · Ensure seamless manufacturing by maintaining RM, bought out and consumable inventory and preventive maintenance · Ensure compliance for ISO or similar quality audits · Process Improvement through Idea generation and adopting new advanced technology for manufacturing processes · Work closely with CFT to quick turn around on development activities. · Monitor all Processes that affect quality and drive Improvement Actions c) Reporting to Lead, Manufacturing d) Place of Posting (Vacancy Listing) Pune a) Essential Attributes · Strong knowledge of skid assembly and equipment manufacturing. · Hands-on experience in fabrication, piping, welding, mechanical assembly, and testing. · Good understanding of pressure vessels, piping systems, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and instrumentation. · Knowledge of welding procedures, NDT, hydrotesting, pneumatic testing, and quality systems. · Experience with ERP systems (Oracle/SAP), production planning, and inventory management. · Strong problem-solving, leadership, and coordination skills. · Ability to manage multiple production activities simultaneously. b) Total desirable Years of Experience 5-8 years c) Minimum Years of Experience in relevant role Min 3 years d) Qualifications Minimum BE/B-tech Mechanical e) Desired type of Experience · 5–8 years in equipment manufacturing or skid assembly. · Minimum 3 years of experience in production/shop-floor management. · Experience in Green Hydrogen, Oil & Gas, Process Equipment, EPC, Pressure Vessel, or Skid Manufacturing industries. · Experience in leading technicians and contractor manpower. · Exposure to FAT, customer inspections, and dispatch planning is preferred.
