Commissioning Engineer Mechanical

Job Description – Commissioning Engineer (Boiler Systems) Company: TBWES – Services Department: Services Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in boiler commissioning. Job Summary TBWES – Services is seeking a skilled and experienced Commissioning Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering background and hands-on experience in boiler systems. The candidate will be responsible for commissioning, startup, testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of boiler and associated auxiliary systems at project sites. Key Responsibilities Execute commissioning activities for boiler systems and related auxiliaries. Prepare and review commissioning procedures, checklists, and test protocols. Conduct pre-commissioning checks, system inspections, and functional testing. Coordinate with engineering, construction, operations, and client teams during commissioning activities. Monitor startup and performance testing of boilers and associated equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide technical solutions during commissioning and operation. Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and project schedules. Prepare commissioning reports, punch point lists, and project documentation. Support warranty and after-sales service activities as required. Participate in site meetings and provide technical updates to stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. 5+ years of experience in commissioning, startup, or operation of industrial boiler systems. Experience with utility boilers, HRSGs, CFBC, AFBC, or thermal power plant boiler systems preferred. Strong understanding of boiler auxiliaries, piping systems, pumps, fans, valves, and related equipment. Knowledge of commissioning procedures, safety practices, and performance testing. Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, engineering drawings, and technical documents.
