Job Description: Job Details a) Position & Designation QAC Engineer b) Grade P3 c) Division & Department Green Hydrogen Job Profile a) Key Objectives · The QAC Engineer will play a key role in developing internal manufacturing QA documents & supplier document review · Compliance with customer specifications, international standards, statutory regulations, · Project quality plans, and contractual requirements. · Supplier quality control & document review along with major packages inspection for its complete life cycle. b) Major Deliverables Project Quality Planning Prepare project quality plan, site quality plan Develop & review ITP/ QAP for internal manufacturing & supplier end. Develop quality assurance procedure Develop inspection assignment matrix Develop NDT Procedure, SOP, FAT/SAT procedure Prepare and establish quality documentation matrix, commissioning QA Plan. Engineering Quality Supplier Document review & complete CRS activities for technical closure Prepare RFQs, techno-commercial comparisons for QA services and documentation support. Welding, Painting, Surface coating, Ni plating, Oxycleaning & Statutory requirement related technical specification validation Supplier Quality Management Supplier qualification, assessment and improvement with continuous guidance. Supplier Audit, capability assessment, Process validation Product development and further improvement with manufacturing process Source inspection planning, NCR & CAPA Management Incoming material Inspection Raw material verification as per the Codes & Standard Knowledge of ASME, ISO, IS, codes and certification qualification Knowledge of packages verification like, pump, transformer, rectifies, vessels, heat exchangers, PLC/MCC panels. Valve, instrumentation and special category component handling and verification. Machining item verification and GD & T awareness Process knowledge about the visual, dimensional, PMI, surface finish, calibration and document verification with traceability Monitor Manufacturing Quality Responsible for the Welding inspection, NDT Coordination, TPIA & Customer inspection handling, final inspection and functional testing. Pressure testing knowledge- Hydro, Pneumatic, Helium leak Test Painting, Acid cleaning, Oxy cleaning & packaging knowledge Electrical testing and FAT offering and performance awareness. Specific Area knowledge Electrolyser awareness for the material handling and FAT program Gas separation unit, Hydrogen purification, Special machining process knowledge Non-conformance management at supplier, manufacturing & customer compliant Electrical equipment handling is added advantage like, Motor, Pump, transformer, rectifier, bus duct , MCC, PLC etc c) Reporting to Lead QAC Manager d) Place of Posting (Vacancy Listing) Pune a) Critical Competencies and Essential Attributes Technical Competencies Good understanding of precision machining processes including CNC machining, milling, turning, grinding, and drilling. Knowledge of Nickel Plating and surface treatment processes. Understanding of Fabrication processes, NDT Processes i.e RT,PT,UT,VT and dimensional inspection Familiarity with codes and standard ISO 9001, ISO 22734, ASME BPVC SEC VIII-Div-1, SEC II-A,B,C,D, Sec V, Sec IX, ASME B16.5, B 16.12, B 16.47 etc Certification knowledge for U Stamp, CE Marking & PED Ability to interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and technical specifications. Skills Required Quality Planning, Welding inspection Pressure equipment life cycle knowledge NDT level-II, Helium leak test, Oxy cleaning awareness Vendor qualification and supplier audits. FAT/SAT of the packages like, skids, assembled modules, pumps, Electrolyser stack, complex pressure generating skids assembly and integration of mechanical, electrical & instrumentation. Calibration management and instrument handling Internal auditor for the ISO QMS system awareness and implementation and documentation execution Behavioral Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving ability. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Self-driven with high ownership and accountability. Strong coordination and project management skills. Ability to work in a cross-functional and multicultural environment. Willingness to travel extensively for supplier development across India. Strong in document management and QD preparation Soft skills: - MS Office - Excel - ERP/SAP - b) Total desirable Years of Experience 7-10 years c) Minimum Years of Experience in relevant role 6 years d) Qualifications B.E. / B. Tech – Mechanical e) Required type of Experience Essential Experience 6–8 years of experience in Quality management system of hands-on routine work of QC activities & QA processes. FAT/SAT execution for the skid assembly and functional testing , large packages, balance of plant equipment’s like, cooling, water, feed water packages, air handling packages Experience in vendor development for high-precision mechanical components. Hands-on exposure to machining vendors, plating vendors, critical process equipment manufacturers. Experience in supplier audits and technical capability assessments. NDT level II certification is must along with Ni-plating, machining processes, laser welding etc Preferred Industry Experience Candidates from one or more of the following industries will be preferred: Green Hydrogen / Electrolyser Manufacturing Precision Machining Power Equipment Industrial Equipment Manufacturing Oil & Gas skid manufacturing Other Information Additional Information - Electrolyser Stack manufacturing and product development will be added advantage, - Erection & commissioning of the large packages and critical skids integration etc.
