About The Role

  • Toddle is an AI-powered teaching and learning platform for K–12 schools.
  • Built by educators, for educators, it is used by over
  • 200,000 educators across 2,500+ schools in 100+ countries
  • .
  • Teachers today work 50+ hours a week. Too much of that time is spent navigating fragmented systems and administrative overhead. Our

BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal)

  • is to
  • save teachers 10+ hours every week while helping elevate their practices
  • , so that time can go back to what matters most - teaching, learning, and meaningful time with students.
  • Our approach is three-pronged.

First,

Toddle brings the

entire teaching and learning lifecycle into one place

. Teachers plan and map curriculum, create assessments and gradebooks, maintain student portfolios, communicate with families, and generate progress reports and transcripts - all from a single, coherent system. Toddle also supports adjacent workflows where teachers are closely involved, including attendance, timetables, calendars, accreditation, behaviour management, analytics, and insights.

Second,

every layer of the platform is deeply AI-powered

. Educators work with a thoughtful AI partner to plan curriculum, create lessons and assessments, assist with grading, write progress report comments, and derive insights from data. Toddle also offers student-facing AI Tutors, enabling highly personalized and immersive learning experiences.

Third,

Toddle integrates seamlessly with the broader school technology ecosystem

. The platform supports 50+ integrations across SIS platforms, content providers, data & integration platforms, and workspaces such as Google, Apple, and Microsoft.

You can watch our founder and CEO’s overview of Toddle

here

.

Headquartered in India with a multicultural team across 20+ countries, Toddle is built by former educators and school practitioners who understand the realities of classrooms firsthand. We care deeply about craft, clarity, and reducing unnecessary complexity for teachers. People who thrive at Toddle enjoy building thoughtful systems, care about real-world impact, and are motivated by long-term change in K-12 education.

Here’s what you’ll be doing

Toddle is scaling fast, and our People & Culture function needs someone who can bring order to the ops side while building the muscle to eventually lead people strategy for one of our key functions. This is a builder's role: you'll own HR ops end-to-end (processes, onboarding, data hygiene), run recruitment for open roles, and within a few months step into an HR Business Partner capacity for a key function; becoming the go-to person for that team's people decisions.

Expect to juggle two to three workstreams at once, in a startup where the playbook isn't fully written yet. We need someone who builds it as they go.

Key responsibilities

HR Operations & Process -

Own end-to-end HR ops - from streamlining onboarding to keeping employee data clean and audit-ready. Design and refine processes (onboarding, documentation, HRIS hygiene) so they scale without breaking as headcount grows. Be the operational backbone the rest of the People team builds on.

Recruitment -

Run recruitment for assigned roles - sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer process. Partner with hiring managers to sharpen role definitions and improve time-to-hire and candidate experience.

HR Business Partnering (growth track, ~2-3 months in) -

Transition into an HRBP for a key function. Partner with senior functional leaders on org design, performance cycles, leadership coaching, and talent decisions. Analyze engagement and attrition trends and get ahead of manager-capability gaps before they become retention problems.

What success looks like (12-18 months)

You've become the person hiring managers and functional leaders pull into decisions early

HR ops runs cleanly enough that nobody thinks about it.

You've taken full ownership of a key function's people agenda, with visible improvement in engagement, manager capability, and retention.

Is this someone that looks like you?

Experience

3-4 years of experience with strong HRBP exposure in a scaling organization. Good to have - prior HR consulting background (Big 4 / boutique HR advisory / organization design / transformation consulting).

Comfortable in high-growth SaaS or startup environments, where priorities shift and you're expected to hustle across multiple projects at once.

You've owned pieces of performance cycles, org design, or leadership coaching before, even if not the whole thing.

Excellent written and spoken English. You build new things when you see a gap, rather than waiting to be told to.

We deeply value building the right culture at Toddle, and these are a few things that we look for in each hire – Coach-ability, Curiosity, Ownership, Hustle and Humility
