About The Role

Toddle is an AI-powered teaching and learning platform for K–12 schools. Built by educators, for educators, it is used by over 200,000 educators across 2,500+ schools in 100+ countries.

Teachers today work 50+ hours a week. Too much of that time is spent navigating fragmented systems and administrative overhead. Our

BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal)

is to save teachers 10+ hours every week while helping elevate their practices, so that time can go back to what matters most - teaching, learning, and meaningful time with students.

Our approach is three-pronged.

First,

Toddle brings the entire teaching and learning lifecycle into one place

. Teachers plan and map curriculum, create assessments and gradebooks, maintain student portfolios, communicate with families, and generate progress reports and transcripts - all from a single, coherent system. Toddle also supports adjacent workflows where teachers are closely involved, including attendance, timetables, calendars, accreditation, behaviour management, analytics, and insights.

Second

, every layer of the platform is deeply AI-powered.

Educators work with a thoughtful AI partner to plan curriculum, create lessons and assessments, assist with grading, write progress report comments, and derive insights from data. Toddle also offers student-facing AI Tutors, enabling highly personalized and immersive learning experiences.

Third,

Toddle integrates seamlessly with the broader school technology ecosystem.

The platform supports 50+ integrations across SIS platforms, content providers, data & integration platforms, and workspaces such as Google, Apple, and Microsoft.

Headquartered in India with a multicultural team across 20+ countries, Toddle is built by former educators and school practitioners who understand the realities of classrooms firsthand. We care deeply about craft, clarity, and reducing unnecessary complexity for teachers. People who thrive at Toddle enjoy building thoughtful systems, care about real-world impact, and are motivated by long-term change in K-12 education.

About the Role

As a Data Services Assistant for Trials, you will be the backbone of the data setup and configuration work that makes our trial experiences seamless for prospective schools. You'll work closely with the US & Canada Growth Team to prepare, configure, and maintain trial accounts.

You will report directly to the Trial Buddies with occasional requests also coming from Account Executives directly. In addition, you'll collaborate closely with the India DS team for training, process alignment, and shared task execution, when relevant.

This role requires strong attention to detail, fluent English communication skills, a good grasp of educational frameworks, and the ability to work independently while staying well-connected with the wider team, mainly via ClickUp and Slack.

Beyond the tasks themselves, this role is about ownership. We move fast and trust the people we work with. You won't always have someone checking your work. We're looking for someone who takes genuine pride in the quality of what they deliver, who notices the details others might skip, and who understands that a well-configured trial account can be the difference between a school choosing us, or not.

Key Responsibilities

Trial Account Setup & Configuration

Create and configure trial accounts on the Toddle platform

Add users (teachers, admins) to trial organizations with correct roles and permissions

Create flows and curriculum structures using AI tools on the platform and/or information shared by the schools, going beyond the minimum to make accounts feel genuinely useful and impressive

Clean up organizations once trial periods end

Standards & Curriculum Data Entry

  • Upload and map academic standards (national, state, international) into trial accounts based on school requirements
  • Interpret and structure curriculum documents (units, learning experiences, routines) accurately into the platform
  • Use creativity and judgment when source material is limited, leveraging AI tools to fill gaps with plausible, educationally meaningful content that reflects the school's context
  • Work with the India DS team on shared tasks and escalate blockers on time

Task & Communication Management

Track all assigned tasks in ClickUp, update statuses regularly, and flag blockers proactively, before anyone has to ask

Communicate clearly in English with Trial Buddies and the wider DS team via Slack or ClickUp in a timely manner

Document observations encountered during data work and share updates with the team

Raise questions and edge cases in a structured, well-framed way that helps the team make decisions and improve processes

What you'll need?

Fluent English, both written and spoken (this is essential for collaborating with a global, English-speaking team)

Comfortable working with web platforms and learning new tools quickly

Proactive communicator, you flag blockers early, ask clarifying questions, and keep the team informed without needing to be chased

Structured and reliable, your tasks are always up to date, your messages are clear, and your work can be trusted

Ability to work independently in a remote environment across similar time zones

Familiarity with educational frameworks, academic standards, or curriculum structures is a strong plus

Experience with ClickUp or similar task management tools is a plus

Is this someone that looks like you?

You're someone who finds satisfaction in a job done properly. You pay attention to what's in front of you, but you also think a step ahead. You use AI tools not as a shortcut but as a way to add genuine value: filling in curriculum, enriching trial accounts, and making schools feel like they're already home in Toddle.

You're structured by nature: your ClickUp is clean, your messages are concise, and your updates come before anyone asks. You take ownership of your work and communicate like a professional, not because someone is watching, but because that's just how you operate.

If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
