Plant Maintenance Mechanic/Welder (Bruce Mines, ON)

Operating a torch and stick welder. Replacing plant components such as bearings, idlers, pulleys, belts, and sheaves. Repairing or replacing guarding. Repairing or building walkways and stairways. Replacing crusher and chute wear liners. Aligning equipment and installing bearing using specialized tools such as lasers, micrometers, and calipers. Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic power units. Identify the root cause of failures and implement a thorough repair solution. Attention to detail and critical thinking are necessary for this position. Utilizing manual dexterity, problem solving skills and attention to detail.
