Conveyor Belt Technician

Replacing belting components such as idlers, rollers, pulleys, Vbelts and sheaves etc. Must be punctual, mechanically inclined and well organized Troubleshoot and repair belting units. Identify the root cause of failures and implement a thorough repair solution. Attention to detail and critical thinking are necessary for this position. Assisting workers and the Foreman meet maintenance and production goals. Keeping track of belting materials and inventory needs, documenting all repairs performed each shift and making note of any upcoming repairs required (Preventative Maintenance). Working alongside others, ensuring they are complying with the OHSA, company policies and procedures. Ability to perform other general duties around the plant as requested by supervisor Ability to take the lead on projects around the plant. Flexibility to work on a various schedule and overtime if required
