Lead Hand, Maintenance (Bruce Mines, ON)

Work collaboratively and effectively with all team members, fostering a positive and productive working environment. Provide onsite leadership in the absence of the Foreman, ensuring maintenance and production activities continue safely, efficiently, and according to daily operational plans. Delegate daily tasks and supports the execution of work assignments as directed by the Foreman, ensuring clarity of expectations and quality of workmanship. Assist the Foreman in meeting maintenance, reliability, and production goals by coordinating and supporting the team in completing both scheduled and unscheduled work. Monitor and track inventory, parts usage, and material needs to support ongoing and upcoming maintenance activities. Document all repairs, and maintenance activities completed during each shift, including detailed notes on preventative maintenance needs, follow‑up actions, and equipment condition assessments. Troubleshoot and problem‑solve equipment and plant issues, using technical knowledge to support quick and safe resolution of mechanical challenges. Take the lead on maintenance projects around the plant, coordinating tasks, setting priorities, and supporting hands‑on work where needed.
