About The Role

As part of the Data and AI team, help train and upskill staff across the business on how to design, build, and responsibly deploy AI agents and generative AI solutions Contribute to training materials, hands-on workshops, documentation, and best-practice guidelines that build AI literacy and self-sufficiency across the organization Gather requirements from internal stakeholders to understand business needs and identify high-value opportunities for generative AI and automation Design, build, and maintain AI agents and generative AI applications using enterprise AI development platforms, large language models, and low-code automation and app-building tools Apply techniques such as prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and tool/function calling to ground AI solutions in company data and connect them to business systems Integrate AI assistants and copilots into existing workflows to streamline processes and improve employee and user experience Collect, clean, and transform structured and unstructured data to support generative AI, retrieval, and machine learning workloads Develop and maintain the data models and pipelines that feed AI systems, leveraging the company's unified data and analytics platform Evaluate and fine-tune models and agents for accuracy, reliability, cost, and performance, and establish guardrails to ensure safe, consistent behaviour Build reports and visualizations to communicate findings, adoption, and business impact to project stakeholders Champion responsible AI practices including data privacy, security, and governance within the solutions you build Stay current with generative AI trends and advancements, particularly applications within the construction industry, to help the team drive innovation within R.W. Tomlinson
