Work Study, Academic Support, Technology or Laboratory (Biology)

Learning Objectives: Student will perform a support role assisting lab technicians and managers in the biology labs Duties will include: Assistance with laboratory preparations, setting up the laboratory rooms for faculty teaching lab classes. Setting up student laboratory exercises (a.k.a. lab preps) upon labeled carts which can be pushed into the laboratory or within benchtop areas within the student laboratory classrooms. Cleanup/sanitation of laboratory rooms after labs are performed Washing of laboratory glassware and other lab supplies as needed as part of lab clean up Checking for sufficient quantities of lab materials (distilled water, lab exam gloves, paper towels and soap) in laboratory classrooms and Bio-prep lab areas. Other duties as assigned.
