CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER - MULTIPLE DISCIPLINE (OFFSHORE/ONSHORE/YARD)

Group Company: TRIPATRA Designation: CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER Office Location: BINTARO OFFICE Tangerang Selatan (TPEC) Position description: Responsible for the management of particular construction work during the execute phase of the project. Construction and testing activities carry out in a safe, timely and cost effective manner. Ensure project construction budget under teir responsibility - both cost and bill of quantity meet with the budget plan. As part of construction management team, they responsible in development of the key document of the construction - Project Execution Plan and Subcontract Plan by providing particular detail plan, where both of particular detail plan have to be develop efficiently and meet with the project purposes. Construction Engineer have to ensure all both plan have complied with the project requirement and TRIPATRA's guide line (procedure, WI and Form) Responsible in development of the discipline construction team (organization) included discipline man power loading plan. Both organization and man power loading plan have to in line with the construction execution plan and project execution plan Responsible in development of the discipline work pack construction plan include mobilization schedule and developing if the responsibility matrix for each work pack and liaison with the others party/ department Primary Responsibilities: Managing discipline construction project safely, meet project quality plan and specification, in-timely manner and within budget Ensure HSE Policy, QC Policy, HSE Plan and QC Plan implemented properly during construction phase and completion phase Managing construction Interface (interface at discipline under their responsibility) with the subcontractor, client and other department and ensure communication with the party happen properly Managing construction Interface (interface at discipline under their responsibility) with the subcontractor, client and other department and ensure communication with the party happen properly Development of the project construction method/ procedure/ method statement and all of it have to in line with construction execution plan properly and meet with the project specification and require Managing discipline construction risk and updating discipline construction risk register in regularly basis along project construction duration Managing change management (change management discipline under their responsibility) - to the client and also from the Subcontractor trough proper construction management procedure Responsible in development of the discipline's work pack construction plan include mobilization schedule and developing of the responsibility matrix, scope of work, split of work and split of supply Responsible in development of the RFP work pack - technical part properly and ensure all key document/ specification/ requirement have incorporated in the work package Together with the others discipline, responsible in development of the discipline's construction sequences and detail discipline's construction schedule level 3 Together with the others discipline, responsible determining of the critical path as well as schedule vulnerability and mitigation plan Determining of the critical path as well as schedule vulnerability and mitigation plan Development of the constructability study for discipline under their responsibility and combine with the others discipline in the beginning Provide input to the engineering in order to incorporate the result of constructability study or construction concern in the engineering detail design Review & make decision for all construction drawing provided by engineering,ensure all the drawing is meet with the project scope,constructible also ensure the design drawing meet with the bill Additional Responsibilities: Reporting Team Reporting Designation: HEAD OF CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY & MODULARIZATION DEPARTMENT (POS_00091) Reporting Department: CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY & MODULARIZATION DEPARTMENT (1DEP_CONSTECH) Educational qualifications preferred Category: Bachelor's Degree Field specialization: Engineering Degree: Academic score: Institution tier: Required Certification/s: Having qualification in project management with minimum level Ahli Madya Management project certification from national body or international body Required Training/s: Required work experience Industry: Role: Years of experience: Key Performance Indicators: Required Competencies: Required Knowledge: Having experience in managing construction or any related functional department (incl. managing people capacity, people development etc) Min 7 (Seven) year experience in O&G/ Petrochemical/ Power/ Mining Industry. Having experience in dealing with project organization with multiple discipline and functions (t.b. combined) Have good knowledge on codes and standards, safety practice and construction method Understand with the EPC Contract term as well as norm scope of works Having good construction management and project management knowledge and also having capability to prepared construction planning and subcontract planning efficiently Having good knowledge on constructability and human factor and able to perform or facilitating in the development of constructability study Understand and able to identify, develop related regulatory compliance plan and socio economic plan with meet stake holder expectation Having good knowledge in change management Having good knowledge in project risk and able to perform risk assessment and prepare initial risk register Required Skills: Good communication skills with project teams and corporate organization Always having initiatives for continues improvement. Required abilities Physical: Other: Leadership and well organized Proactive, energetic and adaptive Collaborative and have team building capability Discipline Authorities: Establish Discipline Construction organization chart and staffing/ man power loading and ensure all the resources met in accordance with the project requirements and specification Reviewing and re-assignment of the construction team follow to the project phase (construction, pre-com and commissioning) with the objective to in-line with the project goal have set up for each phase Responsible in managing of discipline work package through proper construction management, starting from subcontract selection, execution and until closing of the each work package subcontract Prepare technical bid evaluation for discipline work package and make advise/ decision who the bidder pass of the technical evaluation and also made gap analysis as well as mitigation plan to ensure the selected bidder can meet the requirement Selection of the effective and fit of purposes of construction method include proper analysis as well as prepared work procedure/ work methodology Approval or rejected of the construction drawing provided by engineering in relation to the efficiency, constructability and quantity budget control Develop and approved bill of quantity based on approved construction drawing and bill of material provided by engineering team.
