About The Role
Group Company: TRIPATRA Designation: EQUIPMENT INSPECTOR Office Location: AREA PROJECT PHR JPK REQUIREMENTS Minimum Diploma (D3) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline. Minimum 4 years of experience as an Equipment Inspector or in mechanical inspection for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power Generation, Mining, or EPC construction projects. Familiar with the inspection of static and rotating equipment, including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, piping, pumps, compressors, and related mechanical equipment. Good understanding of inspection procedures, quality control requirements, engineering drawings, material specifications, and applicable international codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ASTM, ISO). Experienced in conducting equipment inspections, witnessing factory/site acceptance tests, reviewing inspection reports, and verifying compliance with project specifications. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and other reporting tools. Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills, with the ability to prepare clear inspection records and coordinate effectively with contractors and project teams. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop, implement, and maintain document control systems and procedures related to construction equipment inspection and administration. Manage documentation, numbering, filing, and archiving of equipment records, including equipment damage and downtime reports, inspection reports, maintenance records, and other equipment-related documentation. Ensure all equipment inspection and maintenance records are accurately maintained, securely stored, and accessible through the Company's electronic document management system, including native files, working files, and scanned documents. Prepare, update, and maintain equipment inspection logs, reports, and documentation to support project execution and compliance requirements. Conduct inspections of construction equipment and vehicles to verify their condition, safety, and compliance with Company standards and project requirements. Monitor equipment availability, operational status, and maintenance records, and report any deficiencies or non-conformances to the relevant parties. Coordinate with Construction Contractors and project teams to ensure equipment inspections, maintenance activities, and documentation are completed in a timely manner. Support and report to the Lead Equipment Inspector (or Construction Lead, as applicable) on equipment inspection activities, documentation, and overall construction equipment administration.
